Position Title: Spanish Immersion Interventionist, part time up to 15 hours per week
Department: General Education
Job Summary: The SI Interventionist provides assistance to the Spanish Immersion program at the Rose Park. Under the direction of the SI Coordinator, the interventionist will provide individual and group instruction in core subject interventions, curriculum modification, assessment and progress monitoring.
Essential Duties:
  1. Assist in the educational and academic development of students under the direction of the SI Coordinator.
  2. Assist in implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEP,) Personalized Education Plans (PEP) and/or Behavioral Intervention Plans for students and monitor their progress.
  3. Provide support for students in general education classes.
  4. Provide push in support in the classroom as needed.
  5. Work collaboratively with the general education teacher and ESS teacher to problem solve student barriers.
  6. Provide Crisis Prevention Instruction (CPI) supports as necessary.
  7. Uphold the mission and values of Holland Christian Schools.
  8. Hold a deep and genuine love for God and all children.

Qualifications:
  1. Be at least 18 years of age
  2. Hold a high school diploma or GED
  3. Be capable of physically assisting students with special needs as required (positioning, lifting, transferring, utilizing CPI techniques.)
  4. Have demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
