What you will have an opportunity to do:

Our beautiful Tierra Luna Spa has a talented team delivering calming and unique experiences to our guests with cutting edge products and offerings inspired by the local culture and surroundings. The spa has 12 treatment rooms (indoor and outdoor), indoor and outdoor relaxation spaces, a cafe, contrast bathing (a hot tub and cold plunge pool), and one of the only freestanding outdoor Halotherapy rooms where guests can boost their immunity and cleanse their respiratory system. As a Spa Receptionist, you would be responsible for efficient scheduling of spa appointments, checking in and out guests, and assisting with retail sales. Specifically, this includes, but is not limited to, the following duties:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of the proper use of front desk systems including Spa Soft reservations systems, filing systems, sales systems, and guest check-in and check-out procedures.

  • Greet and welcome arriving guests.

  • Issue lockers and other supplies for guest use.

  • Make appointments.

  • Handle spa billing.

  • Assist retail sales.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of all spa treatments and facilities.

  • Attend and participate in all scheduled pre-shift and department meetings.

  • Demonstrate commitment to making a conscientious effort to eliminate or reduce the risk of injury to our guests and associates, damage to our property or the property of others. Know the correct action to take in the event of an emergency, and demonstrate this knowledge by acting appropriately in the event of an emergency.

This is a part-time position, and you must have flexibility to work at least one weekend day as well as two weekdays during the week and holidays. Shifts are between the hours of 8am-7pm.

What are we looking for?

  • At least two (2) years customer service experience in a guest facing and upscale environment

  • Experience with retail sales and up-selling, highly preferred

  • Experience using a reservation system such as Book4Time, highly preferred

  • Spa experience, preferred

  • Luxury hotel / resort experience, preferred

  • Certification, Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in hospitality or related field, preferred

  • CPR Certified, preferred

  • Food Handler Card, preferred

  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations

  • Excellent computer and customer service skills

  • Time management skills

  • Great attention to detail

  • Professional in communication and appearance

  • Accountable and responsible
