Job Description

Responsibilities of a part time Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) Technology Instructor include but are not limited to:

  • Lecture and or Lab instruction for CADD courses

  • Develop syllabi and course materials. Instruct students in accordance with curriculum standards and objectives

  • Independently evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes. Make necessary provisions to meet learning needs

  • Provide advisement to students

  • Attend staff meetings and recruitment activities as requested

  • CADD courses are taught at Multiple Campuses, in-person, and or online. Courses may be scheduled during the day, evenings, and or weekends.

Applications will be considered on an as-needed basis determined by course availability.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience using industry standard software but not limited to AutoCAD, Rivet and SolidWorks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CADD Program (Software) Certification(s)

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • Previous experience teaching classes.

  • Knowledge of computer classroom technologies

  • Knowledge of Canvas or other Learning Management Systems

  • Experience working with a diverse/multicultural student body and/or workforce

Schedule:

CADD courses are taught at Multiple Campuses, in-person, and or online. Courses may be scheduled during the day, evenings, and or weekends

Salary Informaiton:

$925.00 per credit hour. Credits will vary by semester
