Member Service Representative (Part-Time)

Location: Omaha, NE (On-site) Status: Part-Time, Non-Exempt

Position Summary

Union Pacific Streamliner Federal Credit Union (UPSFCU) is seeking an energetic, service-driven Member Service Representative to deliver exceptional experience across branch, digital, and call center channels. This role supports member transactions, manages inbound and outbound communications, and builds lasting relationships by identifying and meeting members' financial needs for Union Pacific Railroad employees and their families nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver efficient, accurate service through ITMs (Interactive Teller Machines) and Hyosung BlueVerse software platform
  • Process cash transactions using teller cash recycler technology and print checks as required
  • Provide high-quality support for inbound calls, resolving member inquiries and service requests
  • Conduct outbound calls for follow-up, outreach, and relationship-building initiatives
  • Respond to member needs across multiple channels, including phone, email, text, member relationship management software, and in person
  • Open new accounts, certificates, and assist with consumer loan applications
  • Process mail transactions, loan payoffs, and account servicing requests
  • Educate members on products and services and identify solutions to meet their financial needs
  • Resolve account questions and issues to full completion with accuracy and professionalism
  • Maintain compliance with all credit union policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Customer service, call center, and/or cash handling experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone presence
  • Ability to multitask across multiple service channels in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Comfortable using technology and learning financial systems

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Scheduled in 5-hour shifts during weekday business hours (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
  • No evenings or weekends
  • On-site position located in downtown Omaha (not hybrid)ย
