Position Summary:
A Signal Patrol Officer will conduct foot and vehicle patrols of residential areas including courtyards, offices, pools, and other high-value locations to ensure all access points are secured and to protect property and residents. Officers must demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail and safety while performing duties as outlined in the site's Post Orders.
Position Details:
Location: Routes originate in South Reno
Schedule: 7:00 PM - 5:00 AM
Employment Type: Hourly
Pay Rate: $19 - $20 per hour, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct mobile and foot patrols according to site-specific instructions and company post orders.
- Operate assigned company patrol vehicle responsibly, including fueling, cleaning, and routine inspections.
- Write detailed and accurate reports using company technology and software during each shift.
- Consistently arrive on time for shifts, adhere to dress code and appearance standards, and comply with all instructions.
- Interact professionally with clients, residents, and team members to provide excellent customer service and maintain peace of mind.
- Communicate proactively with Advanced Patrol Officer and Branch Patrol Supervisor regarding concerns or observations.
- Maintain and care for all assigned Signal equipment including radios, keys, uniforms, and devices.
- Manage daily patrol tasks efficiently while meeting quality and reporting benchmarks.
- Utilize de-escalation techniques to handle incidents professionally and promptly.
- Participate in daily briefings and communicate updates on route changes, client needs, and post orders.

- Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds.
