Description
In order to reach youth who are currently unable to access a Club, the Mobile Clubhouse Experience brings the Club and its services where they are needed most. The mission of the Mobile Clubhouse Experience is simple: Every kid eats. Every kid Learns. Every kid Thrives. The part-time Mobile Youth Specialist is responsible for mobile program implementation, youth program quality, administrative compliance and safety.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Mobile Program Implementation:
  • Accountable for assigned programming and activities
  • Accountable for providing age appropriate services and activities to youth
  • Accountable for promoting and maintaining a culture of safety Accountable for creating a fun and engaging learning environment
  • Accountable for accurate and timely documentation and reporting

Youth Program Quality:
  • Accountable for fidelity of curriculum
  • Accountable for quality programming and activities
  • Accountable for implementing YPQ techniques

Administrative Compliance:
  • Complete all required reports and administrative duties on time.
  • Collect and manage required data and internal and external reporting. Ensure accuracy of data and reporting. Ensure the effective completion of all assessment and measurement activities of programs
  • Comply with all administrative policies and procedures, processes and controls
  • Accountable for accurate and timely collection and review of membership application
  • Accountable for accurate and timely paperwork, reports, and data entry
  • Accountable for utilizing all BGCGTC communication tools regularly

Requirements
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
  • Experience working with youth

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Ability to work during program hours
  • Ability to be a positive role model
  • Ability to establish rapport and build relationships
  • Ability to relate to at-risk youth
  • Ability to facilitate, teach, or instruct
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Knowledge of technology and software such as tablets, social media, cloud based tools, virtual meeting tools
  • Must be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
  • Must be able to pass any and all required background screens and drug screens at any time
  • Must have reliable transportation, liability insurance, satisfactory driving record and a valid driver's license for operation of a motor vehicle relevant to carrying out duties

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual
  • Ability to facilitate, teach or instruct
  • Work experience with or program knowledge of the Boys & Girls Club Movement (national and/or local Club) is an advantage

Salary:
  • Hourly pay: $14.05
  • Benefits: Eligible for Paid time off (PTO) and holiday pay
