As a Sr Mechanical Design Engineer, you will help ensure both company and client goals are met at the project level. Provide quality-focused design, development, testing, and fulfillment of the processes and systems used to execute projects, including sustaining support for existing products.

Your Superpowers in Action

  • Lead and participate in the design and development of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.

  • Translate internal and customer requirements into concepts and detailed designs using 3D CAD tools.

  • Test, troubleshoot, and develop solutions to technical problems with preventative measures.

  • Manage engineering and procurement changes to keep program goals on track.

  • Create project plans and documentation that support engineering deliverables and related outputs.

  • Support sustaining activities for existing products, including troubleshooting, updates, and design improvements to maintain performance and reliability.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline with10+ years of mechanical, electro mechanical and product design experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience spanning both product design and manufacturing environments, including injection molded tooling and fixtures.

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks (v2015 or newer) for CAD design of mechanical systems.

  • Technical understanding of automation and electro-mechanical systems, including experience with PLCs and related software.

  • Basic programming knowledge related to automation and systems integration.

  • Familiarity with electronic document control systems (PDM) and experience in environments certified to ISO 9001/13485.

Compensation Range:

The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000 - $150,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
