Job description

BBP is excited to offer an internship opportunity for a dedicated and proactive individual eager to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world application. As you utilize what you've learned in the classroom, this position will empower you to apply those theories and concepts in a practical setting. This internship is designed not only for you to gain experience in inside sales but also to provide you with the chance to gain insights into fostering long-term customer relationships and understanding the technical aspects of our products. By integrating academic knowledge with hands-on experience, you'll be better equipped to transition into a successful professional role in the future.

Duties and Learning Opportunities:

As an intern, you'll work alongside our experienced inside sales team and application engineers to:

  • Gain foundational knowledge about the technical features of our products and how they integrate with customer applications.
  • Learn to interpret customer drawings and technical specifications to provide potential solutions.
  • Assist in developing proposals and quotes for BBP products under the guidance of our team.
  • Assist with order entry and processing, ensuring smooth operations and timely deliveries.
  • Collaborate in a team environment to understand and improve customer service processes, aiming to enhance long-term customer satisfaction.
  • Experience firsthand the dynamics of high-volume customer interactions focused on technically-oriented products.
