Job Announcement The City of Chandler Information Technology Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as an IT Programmer Senior Analyst. This is a regular full-time, exempt position with benefits. The work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, which may include weekend and nighttime work outside of normal work hours.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise web applications while partnering with business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technology solutions.

Minimum qualifications A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field; and 4 years of recent experience in systems application analysis, highly complex technical documentation programming, including acting as a lead system implementer on a project team delivering an enterprise solution; experience in web development (C#, ASP.Net, Angular, NodeJs preferred), BASH/Linux, XML, JSON, Database development (Progress, SQL, PL/SQL desired); or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work

Desired qualifications Experience supporting and enhancing enterprise asset management systems, including asset management, work management, maintenance, inspections, service requests, and reporting. Experience managing third party vendors, software implementations, system upgrades, and support contracts while ensuring project milestones and service expectations are met. Experience troubleshooting complex production issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing effective long-term solutions.

Strong business analysis skills, including facilitating requirements gathering sessions, documenting business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and translating business needs into effective technology solutions. Experience working with enterprise system integrations, databases, SQL, GIS, APIs, reporting tools, and data management processes. Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and competing deadlines while working effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to coordinate system testing, user acceptance testing, system changes, and implementations while minimizing disruption to business operations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, customer focused approach and commitment to continuous improvement.

This is a regular full-time position, subject to a 6-month probationary period. A register of qualified candidates will be active for 4 months should another position become available. The City of Chandler will conduct a reference check as a condition of employment.
