Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking several Campus Recreation Marketing Specialist. - Boca Raton, FL.
The Campus Recreation Marketing Specialist supports the marketing and outreach efforts through graphic design, social media assistance, event representation, and content creation for the department.
Summary of responsibilities:
  • Design visually compelling flyers, digital graphics, and other promotional materials to support Campus Recreation programs and events.
  • Assist with planning, creating, and publishing content across social media platforms.
  • Represent the department at campus tabling events, presentations, and outreach activities.
  • Research promotional products, marketing trends, and new opportunities to increase departmental visibility.
  • Capture photos and basic media content at Campus Recreation events for use in marketing materials and social media.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve audience engagement, tailoring messaging and design for key audiences including students, prospective students and families, alumni, and the campus community).

Minimum Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent and one year of appropriate experience required.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) is strongly preferred.
Experience managing social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube.
Salary:
$18 per hour.

Monday - Saturday, 8am -7pm. Up to 29 hours per week.
