Job description

Acadian Total Security has an immediate opening for a part-time Video Analyst at our Lafayette, LA location.
Job Summary: Verify and dispatch on video security alarms for residential and commercial customers.
JOB FUNCTIONS
1
Monitors incoming alarm signals using audio and video, verifying and dispatching security alarms for residential and commercial clients

Answers phone calls from end users and dealers

Answers incoming phone calls and takes messages for dealers and end users
4
Handles any special projects and dealer/end user issues specifically requested by the Operators Supervisor

Works with computer automation software to efficiently handle alarms
6
Document accurate, concise, detailed, factual and meaningful reports of events handled
7
Assists the alarm center anytime there is a natural disaster or emergency
8
Follows protocols for extinguishing Fire Rover fires
9
Assist the alarm center with Noonlight video verification alerts

QUALIFICATIONS:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  1. High School diploma or GED
  2. Must possess and maintain a clear criminal history
  3. ACES management training certification is considered a plus
  4. A background in telecommunications, criminal justice, security alarm dispatching, CCTV alarm installation or law enforcement is preferred
  5. Must be PC literate and some familiarity with MS Word and Excel.
  6. Strong organizational skills; multi-task oriented
  7. Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  8. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
