Job description

Event Parking & Site Attendant (Seasonal)
Pay: $17/hour

We're looking for friendly, reliable Event Parking & Site Attendants to help manage parking and site logistics for upcoming events. This is a great seasonal opportunity for someone who enjoys being active, working outdoors, and interacting with the public.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct vehicles to available parking spaces safely and efficiently
  • Guide traffic flow in and out of the lot before, during, and after events
  • Assist guests with directions, wayfinding, and general questions
  • Monitor parking areas for safety issues or unauthorized vehicles
  • Set up and take down cones, signage, and barricades as needed
  • Prepare event sites ahead of time, including placing directional and informational signage
  • Perform general grounds upkeep such as shoveling snow, clearing debris, and light landscaping as needed
  • Help set up and break down event equipment (tables, ropes, tents, etc.) as needed
  • Communicate with team members and supervisors via radio or phone
  • Assist with other event-day and site logistics tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods, in all weather conditions
  • Comfortable lifting/moving equipment and materials (signage, cones, snow shovels, etc.)
  • Comfortable directing traffic and working near moving vehicles
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, customer-friendly attitude
  • Reliable transportation and flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Previous parking, security, event, or facilities experience a plus, but not required
