Location: San Antonio, TX

Position Type: Part-Time (Up to 24 hours per week)

Compensation: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour (Commensurate with experience)

About the Role

Dijon North Condominiums is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Porter to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the curb appeal and overall cleanliness of our community. If you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in a job well done, and have a "can-do" attitude, we want to hear from you!

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Minor Landscaping: Perform routine upkeep including weeding flower beds, trimming small shrubs, spreading mulch, and ensuring the lawn areas are free of debris.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Daily "policing" of the property to pick up litter and ensure common areas are pristine.
  • Amenity Care: Sweep and power wash walkways, breezeways, and pool decks as needed.
  • Waste Management: Empty common area trash bins and ensure dumpster enclosures are tidy.
  • Seasonal Tasks: Assist with seasonal cleanup (leaf removal, light snow clearing, or salt spreading) and basic exterior touch-ups.
  • Safety & Reporting: Identify and report any maintenance hazards or property damage to the manager.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in janitorial work or landscaping is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to operate basic hand tools and light landscaping equipment (blowers, trimmers, etc.).
  • Physical ability to stay on your feet for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in various weather conditions.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
