Overview
Why We Need Your Talents:
As a Food Runner, you'll ensure that food orders are expedited accurately and delivered promptly to guests in both the restaurant and In-Room Dining. By maintaining a clean and organized expo line, stocking condiments, and verifying proper garnishing, you'll help keep operations running smoothly and guarantee that every dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
Compensation: $15.00
Responsibilities
Where You'll Make an Impact:
  • Expediting food orders on the kitchen line.
  • Monitor IRD orders and ring into the point of sale system.
  • Deliver food orders accurately and timely to customers in the dining room and In-Room Dining
  • Ensure that the expo line is clean, condiments are stocked and orders are correctly garnished and marked.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills to Help You Succeed:
  • Ability to use fountain soft drink, tea and coffee machines.
  • Ability to read and write basic instructions.
  • Knowledge of Alcohol Beverage Control laws, health regulations, and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
  • Excellent communication skills needed.
  • Ability to organize and be creative. Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of food.

Qualifications
Must-Haves:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Zero (0) to six (6) month's food service experience.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to walk extended distances during shifts.
  • The team member is frequently (60%) required to stand; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, and bend.
  • The team member must occasionally (10%) lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to continuously walk more than (90%) of shift which may include stairs.

Working Conditions:
  • 24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees.
  • Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
  • You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.

Please note that this is a union position, and individuals in this role may be required to pay applicable union dues and fees.
