Job description

Make a meaningful impact on the lives of elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity places you in a supportive educational environment near Merced, CA where your expertise will help children achieve their communication goals. Whether you’re an experienced SLP-CCC or in your Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY), your dedication and innovation are valued in fostering student growth.

Openings are available for two SLPs, with options for full-time or part-time schedules across three elementary sites. This is an immediate start position—ideal for those eager to make a difference right now.

Qualifications:
• Active Speech-Language Pathologist California license or eligibility
• SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) candidates considered
• Previous experience in an elementary school setting strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, speech and language assessments, and therapy plan implementation
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
• Track progress and maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school policies
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student success
• Travel between three elementary sites as needed
• Offer guidance and education to classroom staff regarding speech and language best practices

These roles offer flexibility in scheduling and provide an inspiring opportunity to serve in multiple elementary communities. Step into a role where your clinical skills and compassionate approach are celebrated—and where your work truly matters to young learners and their families.
