Job description

Seasonal | Part-Time I Volunteer
We are seeking dedicated, team-oriented individuals with a strong desire to help others and serve as a visible safety presence on the mountain. Ski Patrol plays a critical role in ensuring the well-being of our guests by responding to emergencies, maintaining a safe environment, and delivering exceptional guest care.
Position Details
  • Minimum commitment:
    • 1 weekday evening: 6:45pm - 10:30pm
    • 1 weekend day: 8:00am - 4:00pm
    • Night shift every 5th weekend
  • Hours and specific commitments may vary at the discretion of the Ski Patrol Director and COO

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Provide emergency medical care and assistance on the mountain
  • Safely transport and evacuate injured guests when necessary
  • Maintain a visible, approachable presence to support guest safety
  • Operate and maintain basic tools and patrol equipment
  • Assist in creating and maintaining a safe ski and ride environment for all guests
  • Work closely with team members to deliver consistent, professional care

Qualifications
  • Certification as one of the following:
  • Outdoor Emergency Care Technician (OEC)
  • EMT, Paramedic, Medical Doctor, or Registered Nurse (with OEC bridging modules)
  • Ability to ski at a strong intermediate level in all weather and snow conditions
  • Capable of lifting and moving heavy objects
  • Comfortable working outdoors in variable winter conditions
  • Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and guest service
