Cyber Automation Engineer, Senior
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Senior Cyber Automation Engineer to design, integrate, and maintain systems and tools that automate complex cyber activities. This role focuses on using automation to improve detection workflows, reduce manual tasks, optimize resource use, and strengthen cyber operations.
This engineer will develop automated solutions for cyber detection challenges, integrate data workflows, tools, and APIs, support risk scoring and prioritization, and improve security standards and procedures. The ideal candidate combines cyber operations knowledge with automation tools, API automation, and full-stack development experience.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience in cyber automation
  • Experience designing automated solutions to solve cyber detection challenges and optimize resource use
  • Experience with enterprise security architecture, IT security assessments, and IT security operations
  • Experience with AWS CodeCommit, Forescout, McAfee Endpoint Protection, and Microsoft Defender
  • Experience with data administration, data governance, and effectiveness measurement
  • Knowledge of automation tools, API automation, and full-stack development
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including information assurance, information security, and network security
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with Excel reports and Microsoft networking
  • Experience with antivirus software and cyber operations
  • Experience with enterprise information security architecture and information security auditing
  • Experience working in a hybrid delivery environment
  • Knowledge of IT policies, procedures, and standards

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
