Onsight Healthcare has been contracted to support Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana!

Part-Time Position  | $17.50/hour | CDL Not Required | Monday - Friday

Currently looking for an Afternoon Shift - Part Time Shuttle Driver

  • This will be a set schedule
  • Monday - Friday
  • 8:00am-10:00pm

Minimum Requirements

  • Over the age of 21 years old
  • Eligible to work for any U.S. Employer
  • High school Diploma or GED
  • Possess a valid active in-state regular driver's license (Permit or Probationary License not accepted )
  • At least 1 year of shuttle, bus, or delivery truck driving experience, with a strong, personable, customer-centric background, is required
  • Extremely safe driver, familiar with and able to adhere to all major traffic laws
  • Maintained a clean driving record for the past 5 years as an active driver
  • A CDL License is not required, but is a plus!

Key Responsibilities 

When Shuttling employees

  • Greet and welcome employees to the healthcare facility
  • Answer employees' questions regarding offices or department locations.
  • Follows a planned route, making scheduled stops to pick up or drop off employees.
  • Daily use of apps/technology to maintain operational efficiency and logistics for the assigned shuttle route
  • Complete pre-shift and end-shift safety checks and document any damage or necessary information about the shuttle.

When not shuttle driving

  • Greet and welcome employees to the healthcare facility
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and professional work environment for your co-workers and passengers
  • Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor with all employees and team members
  • Answer employees' questions regarding medical offices or department locations.

You have excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset. You know how to de-escalate difficult situations and how to keep a calm and composed attitude in a fast-paced environment.

You are well-spoken, professional, and able to uphold an exceptional level of integrity and customer service while working.

You are over the age of 21, possess a valid state driver's license with a clean driving record, and have the physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift moderate weights while working in an outdoor environment.
