Overview
A Server works as the central resource to our full-service restaurant operations. Their responsibilities revolve around the service of our guests with genuine hospitality, speed, and accuracy. This individual will greet customers, take orders, serve food, and maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant. This position has the unique opportunity to guide the guest through their entire dining experience and is integral to our program's success.
Job Duties
  • Greets guests, takes orders, and serves food and beverage offerings in accordance to established restaurant standards. (Essential)
  • Provides friendly, quality, and genuine hospitality to each guest. (Essential)
  • Demonstrates knowledge of both food and beverage menus and offerings, including dietary and allergen guidelines. (Essential)
  • Practices safe food and alcoholic practices, following company and health department standards. (Essential)
  • Checks identification of guests to verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol.
  • Receives payment in cash or credit card, and accurately counts and provides change for guest, when applicable.
  • Clears and cleans tables, as well as restocks utensils, plates, food, and condiments throughout shifts.
  • Follows sanitation standards to clean and maintain the restaurant area, including sweeping and vacuuming.
  • Performs shift opening/closing/side work duties as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
  • 6 months in previous serving experience (Preferred)
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to present a professional image, including cleanliness and appearance standards
  • Innate desire to provide the very best guest experience
  • Excellent guest service and verbal communication skills
  • Required Certifications/Licensures:(Safe Food Handler Certifcate Program within 60 days from hire date)
