Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, customer-oriented Part-Time Server to join our front-of-house team. You will be responsible for warmly greeting guests, taking orders accurately, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring every guest has an outstanding dining experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
- Guest Experience: Welcome guests, present menus, and offer thoughtful recommendations for food and beverage pairings.
- Order Taking & Delivery: Accurately record food and drink orders (including dietary restrictions) and collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff for prompt delivery.
- Table Maintenance: Clear and sanitize tables, reset seating areas, and maintain a clean, organized dining room.
- Payment Processing: Process cash and credit card payments accurately using our Point of Sale (POS) system and handle checkout procedures efficiently.
- Teamwork: Assist fellow servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service flow during busy hours.
- Compliance: Adhere to all food safety regulations and local health department standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous serving or customer service experience preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Friendly, positive attitude, and excellent verbal communication skills.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing guest checks.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and safely lift up to ~ 35 lbs..
Schedule & Compensation
- Job Type: Part-Time
- Schedule: Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. (Approx. 15–25 hours/week).
- Compensation: 11.65/hour + tips
