How you'll contribute
Works in collaboration with the nurses and exercise physiologists in the CardioPulmonary Rehabilitation program to care for patients with recent cardiac or pulmonary events. Assisting with the patient process flows, such as cardiac telemetry monitoring, vital signs, patient education, patient assessment, maintaining exercise prescriptions for the patient, setting exercise machines, etc Assists in cleaning/sanitizing/maintaining equipment. Attends in-services as required for position.
Assists in maintaining logs as needed.
Non-Essential Functions
Identifies and pursues opportunities to expand professional development; examples might include: committee participation, conducts brown-bag sessions, takes professional development courses, and attends non-mandatory educational offerings. Assists with orientation and training of others as directed. Works in collaboration with the nurses and exercise physiologists in the CardioPulmonary Rehabilitation program to care for patients with recent cardiac or pulmonary events.
How you'll contribute
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing Required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred
  • Current RN to practice in the state of (TN)
  • ACLS, BCLS

Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
