Job Overview - Home Infusion Registered Nurse (Part Time):
Compensation: $45 - $50/hour
Location: Burlington, VT
Schedule: Monday to Friday, approximately 6 hours per day, with rotating on-call coverage

TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Part-Time Home Infusion Registered Nurse in Burlington, VT for our client. This field-based role provides skilled infusion nursing services in patient homes, including IV medication administration, patient education, care coordination, and clinical documentation. You will work independently while collaborating with nursing leadership, pharmacists, and physicians to deliver safe, compliant, and patient-centered infusion care, utilizing established clinical protocols and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities as the Home Infusion Registered Nurse (Part Time):

  • Patient Assessment & Care Planning: Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments to evaluate clinical status, home environment, and caregiver support.
  • Infusion Therapy Administration: Provide skilled infusion nursing care, including IV medication administration, peripheral IV starts, line maintenance, and monitoring per physician orders.
  • Patient & Family Education: Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy, medications, infection control, and home safety practices.
  • Clinical Monitoring & Communication: Monitor patient response to treatment, identify adverse reactions or changes in condition, and communicate updates to physicians, pharmacists, and nursing leadership.
  • Documentation & Care Coordination: Maintain accurate clinical documentation and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure compliant, continuous patient care.

Qualifications for the Home Infusion Registered Nurse (Part Time):

  • Licensure: Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Vermont required.
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience, with home health, infusion therapy, or IV therapy experience.
