Summary
The Specialty Care Services Staff Nurse is a professional nurse who assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for Patients/families in his/her area.
Other information:
Responsible for providing support to physicians by providing patient care including patient triage, initiating patient treatment and documentation, providing appropriate education to levels of understanding, maintaining and managing patient forms and referrals and making consultant appointments. Responsible to the physicians for the full scope of nursing duties.
Credentials with Equivalent Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse AL Single State or any of the following equivalent qualifications below:
- Registered Nurse Non-AL NLC Multi State
- Basic Life Support
Education with Equivalent Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Nursing in Nursing or
- Associate of Science Nursing in Nursing and 1 Year job experience as staff nurse
