  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current Louisiana RN licensure required

What You Will Do:

Coordinate patient care processes including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in collaboration with patients, families, physicians, and support services.

  • Collect and prioritize patient health data through comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments
  • Identify nursing diagnoses and determine patient-centered outcomes
  • Develop individualized interdisciplinary plans of care using current nursing standards
  • Implement nursing interventions, administer treatments and medications, and coordinate care with support services
  • Provide education to patients and families and plan for discharge
  • Evaluate patient progress and revise plans of care accordingly
  • Document all assessments, interventions, and evaluations thoroughly
  • Conduct groups and maintain a safe therapeutic environment
  • Attend staffings to update treatment plans
  • Respond appropriately to emergency seclusion and restraint situations in compliance with regulations
