Amada Senior Care Barrington is a dedicated home care agency providing compassionate and professional care to clients in their own homes. We specialize in delivering high-quality assistance with activities of daily living, ensuring that our clients receive the support they need to maintain their independence and quality of life. 

Job Description
We are seeking caring and reliable Evening Part-Time Caregiver to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their homes, helping them with activities of daily life and promoting their overall well-being.
 
Availability:
  • Evening availability 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with Personal Care: Provide assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other personal hygiene needs.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Medication Reminders: Remind clients to take prescribed medications on time.
  • Companionship: Offer emotional support and engage in conversation to enhance clients' quality of life.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishwashing, and tidying up.
  • Transportation and Errands: Provide transportation to appointments or assist with errands as needed.
  • Mobility Assistance: Aid clients with mobility, including transfers, walking, and positioning.

Requirements:

  • English Speaking
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, compassion, reliability, and patience.
  • A Clean Driving Record/Personal Vehicle
  • Current Car Insurance
  • A Valid Driver’s License
  • 18 Years of Age or Older
  • 1+ Years of Caregiver Experience (Preferred)

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in home care or a similar role preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to submit documentation through mobile device 
  • Certification: CNA, HHA, or relevant certification is a plus.
