Description/Job Summary:
The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a Warehouse Specialist to provide support for managing the furnishings, window treatments, equipment, and appliances for Special Command Positions (SCPs), general/flag officers, installation commanders, and civilian equivalents in privatized housing. The role involves providing management, logistics, warehousing, and preventive maintenance services to maintain these government-furnished properties. Key duties include overseeing the delivery, installation, minor repairs, preventive maintenance, and disposal of furnishings, ensuring government-owned equipment remains in optimal working condition.
Required Experience & Skills:
  • Experience in logistics and warehousing operations.

  • Proficiency in managing preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and upkeep of equipment and furnishings.

  • Ability to handle maintenance of appliances such as ice makers, refrigerators, trash compactors, and instant hot water dispensers, including cleaning, filter replacement, and minor repairs.

  • Strong understanding of maintenance schedules and manufacturer specifications.

  • Experience documenting and reporting maintenance issues, property loss, or abuse.

Notice $23-$25/hr Skills & Requirements
Preferred Experience & Skills:
  • Experience working with government contracts and familiarity with contract requirements for maintenance and repairs.
