As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Credential Administration in Loxahatchee, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.
Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTimeSat04:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun04:00 PM - 10:00 PM
How This Role Works:
  • Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
  • Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access points to help support authorized entry and departure, verify visitor and vendor credentials, and document relevant activity in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency services as directed by site procedures.
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation related to visitor access, resident requests, deliveries, and unusual activity.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
