PART-TIME SECURITY at Destination Geneva National

Join Destination Geneva National’s exceptional hospitality team as part-time Security, maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests and associates by patrolling and monitoring the Clubhouse, grounds, and around the Cottages amp; Suites overnight lodging from 6pm-2am, Thursday, Friday amp; Saturday nights. In this position, you will be responsible to:

  • Secure the premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points.
  • Obtain help by sounding alarms and notifying local authorities.
  • Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
  • Prevent loss and damage by reporting irregularities, inform violators of policy and procedures, and restrain trespassers.
  • Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; and obtaining signatures.
  • Maintain the environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
  • Maintain the property's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
  • Necessary skills amp; qualifications for this position include surveillance, sound judgment, objectivity, dependability, integrity, safety management, professionalism, reporting, and emotional control.
