Job description

Part-Time Security Officers Needed

We are currently seeking reliable and professional Part-Time Security Licensed Officers to join our team.

  • Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
  • Protect the interests of the client within the limits of the facility and to protect the lives and property of employees and visitors.
  • Must stay on post until properly relieved.
  • Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
  • Controls access to client site or facility through the admittance process.
  • Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe and irregular conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.

Requirements:

  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Be available to work various shifts, days, evenings, and nights on weekends.
  • Have a clean driving record and valid driverโ€™s license with your own reliable transportation.
  • The physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly. Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain. Additional physical requirements may include, frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing for the purpose of public interaction and report writing.
  • Good typing skills, as all reporting is done thru smartphone.
  • Able to provide proof of ability to work in the United States.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of clients, employees and the public in a direct, timely and professional manner, ability to adapt and make sound decisions under pressure, add value and continuously improve to maintain security.
  • Ability to get along with other employees, follow directions, add value and continuously improve to maintain security professionalism and quality standards.
  • Ability to conform to established procedures and to help identify and solve problems.

All interested Security Officer candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be available to work at any location in the Pasadena, LaPorte, Baytown, and surrounding areas where we provide security service.
  • Must have good communications skills, and be computer and smartphone literate.
  • TX Non-commissioned / Commissioned security officer License
  • Must have High School Diploma or GED
  • Have current Valid Drivers License
  • Must have your own reliable means of transportation and smartphone
  • Must be able to pass Criminal and Drug Screenings
  • Must be able to perform routine foot patrol and do moderate lifting.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or GED
  • Clean criminal background
  • Must have current state required licensing
