What are part time security guards?

Part time security guards are professionals hired to protect property, people, or assets for a set number of hours per week, typically less than full-time employees. They may work in a variety of settings such as offices, retail stores, or events, and are responsible for patrolling premises, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding to security incidents. Their schedules can be flexible, making the position ideal for students, retirees, or those seeking supplemental income. While their duties are similar to those of full-time security guards, their hours and benefits may differ depending on the employer.

Is security guard a good side hustle?

A security guard position can be a suitable side hustle for those seeking flexible hours and part-time work. It often requires basic training or certification and involves monitoring premises, which can be done during evenings or weekends to supplement primary income.
