Is 40 too old for cyber security?

Part Time Security Engineers and cybersecurity professionals can successfully start or continue their careers at age 40 and beyond. Success in cybersecurity depends on skills, certifications, and experience rather than age, and many employers value diverse backgrounds and ongoing learning. Age should not be a barrier to entering or advancing in the field.

Can security engineers work remotely?

Security engineers can often work remotely, especially if their role involves tasks like monitoring security systems, analyzing threats, and configuring security tools that can be accessed online. However, some roles requiring physical access to hardware or on-site incident response may require in-person presence.

Earning $200 per year would be extremely unlikely in this field.
