Job description

Integrated Technologies Inc. is seeking a Fire/Security Alarm Installation Technician to support timely, accurate installation and service of life-safety and security systems.

Position Summary

As a Fire/Security Alarm Installation Technician, you will install, configure, and test fire alarm and security alarm systems in residential and commercial environments. You’ll work with a team to ensure systems are installed to specifications, function as intended, and meet applicable safety and compliance requirements.

This hybrid role is based in Warner Robins, GA, and will balance hands-on field work with coordination activities. You’ll be responsible for delivering quality workmanship while maintaining a safe job site and clear communication with customers and team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, mount, wire, and program fire alarm and security alarm components according to project plans and manufacturer specifications.

  • Perform system testing, functional verification, and basic troubleshooting to ensure proper operation.

  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment at each job site.

  • Complete job documentation, including installation records, checklists, and reports of work performed.

  • Coordinate with supervisors and team members to meet scheduled timelines and job expectations.

Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience installing and/or servicing fire alarm and security alarm systems.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to read and interpret job plans and installation instructions.

  • Ability to work safely on job sites, including using ladders and performing work that may involve physical demands.

  • Reliable attendance and readiness to complete scheduled installations and related coordination tasks.

  • Strong communication skills and professionalism when interacting with customers or site contacts.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and inspection requirements for life-safety and security systems.

  • Experience completing installations end-to-end, including testing and documentation.

  • Experience working in a hybrid schedule that includes both field execution and coordination.

  • Commitment to quality workmanship, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through on tasks.
