Our mission is to inspire learning through fun science education. We do this through exciting after-school programs, workshops, birthday parties, camps, shows & assemblies! We have also recently begun offering products and supplies.

Instructors Wanted for Fun Science Programs for kids
Do you like working with children? Do you like to have fun on the job? Do you have experience teaching or performing? Have you always wanted to act like a CRAZY MAD SCIENTIST!?! Do you have a car?
Then this is just the job for you!!!
Big Thinkers Science Exploration is currently looking for animated, energetic & dynamic individuals to bring the most FUN SCIENCE experience EVER to children all over the metro Atlanta Area. We visit schools, childcare centers, libraries, scout groups, and more! No science background necessary! Just come ready to learn.
Now hiring for part time positions for the following areas of business:
Workshops/ In-School Field Trips: Visit locations and teach in-class field trips on diverse science topics for small groups children. Workshops may be scheduled for schools, daycare facilities, scout programs, church groups, libraries, etc. This position has varied hours. Flexible daytime availability required. (Starting Pay= $25/ 1hr workshop)
Afterschool Program Instructors: We seek engaging and animated instructors to teach weekly STEM & STEAM After School Science Clubs around the Metro area. Must be available to teach 3-5 afternoons (2pm-6pm window) per week during the school year. Most local area schools dismiss between 2:00pm and 4:00pm. Must have experience working with children. (Starting Pay= $25/ 1hr long workshop)
Birthday Party Performers: Performers wanted to conduct birthday parties for small groups, usually held in customers' homes. High energy & entertaining experience is a must. Seeking actors, improv performers, magicians, puppeteers, clowns, and characters! Weekend availability required, 2 weekends per month minimum. ($35-$50 per 1hr party + gratuity)
Super Science Show Performers: Performers wanted for large group events (school assemblies, corporate events, festivals). High energy & entertaining experience is a must. Seeking actors, improv performers, magicians, puppeteers, clowns, and characters! Varied availability (weekdays/weekend, daytime/evening) ($50/ 1hr long show).
We are also hiring for workshops, afterschool programs, and special events.
Qualifications
A Big Thinker may be a teacher, educator, actor, performer, scientist, childcare provider, student, or even a clown...all applicants are welcome as long as they:
*Have a very outgoing and FUN personality.
*Have some college classes under their belt.
*Enjoy working with school-aged children (5-12 years).
*Have the ability to teach and/or entertain/perform.
*Be engaging and able to relate science topics to children.
*Have a strong work ethic (responsible, dependable, punctual, etc).
*Have a dependable vehicle and cell phone. This is a mobile job!!!
*Be able to handle moderate lifting (~40lbs).
