Position Summary:
  • Infant of Prague Catholic School is a PK-12 school located in Jacksonville, NC. We are currently accepting applications for a full-time high school Science teacher. Canidates should present passionate dispositions towards teaching and preferably of Catholic Faith.
Key responsibilities / day-to-day job functions
  • Perform professional responsibilities of a teacher, including but not limited to planning lessons and preparing instructional materials based upon the identified Diocese of Raleigh curriculum standards, attending meetings and school functions, serving on faculty committees, communicating with parents and administration, and maintaining positive relationships with peers, students, parents, and Administration.
  • Accept the mission of the school as articulated at the Diocesan, school, and parish levels
  • Implement the educational mission, philosophy, goals, and objectives of the school
  • Plan, prepare, teach, and interact with students so as to challenge students to maximize their individual potential
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills to form successful partnerships with colleagues, students, parents, and Administration
Minimum Requirements
  • Employment is contingent upon applicant satisfactorily passing criminal background and reference checks
  • Must complete diocese-sponsored Safe Environment Training prior to start.'
