Job description

We’re looking for a passionate and customer-focused Part-Time Sales Leader to inspire our team and elevate every interaction. In this role, you’ll lead by example on the sales floor—engaging customers, uncovering their needs, and delivering personalized solutions that reflect their style and our brand.

This role will also perform management duties, such as opening and closing the store, as well as operational and visual merchandising tasks.


  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience by actively listening, asking thoughtful questions, and offering tailored product recommendations.
  • Lead and support the sales team in achieving daily and weekly sales goals through coaching, motivation, and hands-on selling.
  • Foster a welcoming and inspiring store environment that reflects our brand and encourages customer engagement.
  • Stay informed on product features, trends, and promotions to confidently educate customers and drive sales.
  • Assist with store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and maintaining visual standards and store cleanliness.
  • Provide real-time feedback and support to team members to ensure consistent service excellence.
  • Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Assist in training and mentoring sales associates to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Help execute visual merchandising plans and ensure product displays are well-stocked and appealing.
  • Monitor sales performance and contribute to achieving store goals.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Uphold all company policies and procedures, including safety and loss prevention.

  • Minimum 1 year management experience in a retail or service industry preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for home decor and a keen eye for design.

  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to ascend/descend a ladder to retrieve and stock products on the shelf or to hang overhead banners/ product.
  • Frequently positions self to retrieve and stock products in the stock room and sales floor and to place merchandise in bags.
  • Must be able to constantly move around the store for prolonged periods to greet and assist customers.
  • Must be able to frequently communicate with the customers in person, electronically, and telephonically.
  • Must be able to frequently move merchandise that is 50 pounds or more to and from the stockroom to sales floor.
  • Must be able to operate a Point-of-Sale system, registers and handheld devices efficiently and accurately.
