Job description

SchoolBusDriver (Part-Time ONLY Split AM/PM Shift) $22 per hour/$440 per week guaranteed


PRIMARY PURPOSE:

To operate district multi-function activitybuses in a safe, reliable and efficient manner to meet the needs of the district, the public and the customers served by the district.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be 21 years or older

Special Knowledge/Skills:

  • Meet all state (TEA) qualifications for schoolbusdrivers
  • Maintain a Commercial Driver License- Class A or B with PASSENGER & SCHOOLBUSendorsements REQUIRED
  • Maintain a SchoolBusDriver Certification
  • Ability to pass a Texas DOT Medical Examination preferred
  • Must have acceptable criminal record and driving record
  • Thorough knowledge of the Texas Pupil transportation laws, rules, and regulations
  • Ability to communicate effectively in speaking, reading, and writing in English


Must be available to work the following schedule:

Monday - Friday

BETWEEN 6:00 am - 9:00 am

BETWEEN 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm


This position is a part-time position with a split shift.
