Location: UHealth Tower
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, with alternating weekends.
The Patient Access Representative 1 (On-Site) (U) projects a professional and welcoming demeanor and welcomes visitors (i.e., vendors, customers, patients, staff, students etc.) to the department by promptly greeting them, in person or on the telephone, and answering or referring their inquiries appropriately. Patient Access Representative 1 (On-Site) (U) serves as the first point of contact for patients and customers entering facility/department and interfaces effectively with all members of the healthcare team, keeping patients informed of any delays.
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Greets visitors to the department and directs them to their requested destination.
2. Answers incoming calls and places outgoing calls, in a timely and efficient manner, while providing
3. Exceptional customer service to further a positive institutional image.
4. Responds to general questions and inquiries, forwards non-routine requests to appropriate staff for.
5. Handling.
6. Assists with general administrative task, such as sorting departmental mail, faxes, troubleshooting office.
7. Equipment etc.
8. Maintains department directories and visitation logs.
9. Maintains a tidy and clean reception area.
10. Places orders for department supplies as requested by department leadership.
11. Projects a professional appearance and pleasant demeanor creating a welcoming atmosphere.
12. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience

  • Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
