Job description

Summary

  • Great opportunity to work at the Willmar Clinic and Redwood Falls Clinic in Diabetes Care.

  • Provide patient focused rooming for all types of clinic visits.

  • Communicate results and other pertinent medical information to patients and providers. 

  • Assist in assuring the day-to-day activities of the clinic are completed timely and efficiently. 

Schedule

  • Fulltime position – Primarily at the Willmar Main Clinic with every Thursday and one Friday per month at the Redwood Clinic. Mileage reimbursement available when driving to Redwood Falls.

  • Working 64 hours every two weeks

  • Tues-Fri Daytime shifts between the hours of 7:30AM and 4:30PM

  • No evenings, weekends, or holidays 

Pay & Benefits

  • Pay rate based on experience with a minimum rate of $24.21 (LPN); $21.54/hour (CMA)
    • LPN full pay range: $24.21 to $36.35
    • CMA full pay range: $21.54 to $32.31
  • $2,500 (LPN); $2,000 (CMA) hiring bonuses

  • $5,000 Relocation bonus for eligible candidates

Qualifications

  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy
  • Ability to understand patients’ medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff

Medical Assistants:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistant (see below)
    Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA). Must provide proof of pass notification prior to start with verification of official certification or registration within 3 months of exam date. Certification from one of the following:

    • American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
    • American Medical Technologists (AMT)
    • NCMA through National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
    • National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
    • American Registry of Medical Assistants program (ARMA)

Licensed Practical Nurse:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required

  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Minnesota required.

To be eligible for the hiring bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous CentraCare employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.

Relocation assistance eligibility: Must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare/Carris in the last 9 months. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away from the Willmar Main Clinic and relocate to within 30 miles of it.
