Job description

Position Overview
Join a collaborative and high-performing Interventional Radiology (IR) team where precision, teamwork, and patient-centered care come together. We're seeking a part-time, day-shift Registered Nurse working three 8-hour shifts per week who thrives in a fast-paced procedural environment, brings a strong work ethic, and is eager to continue learning and growing. Prior IR experience is strongly preferred, though we welcome nurses who are motivated to develop their skills in this specialty.
As an IR Nurse, you'll support a wide range of minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures while working closely with physicians, technologists, and fellow nurses. This role includes an on-call requirement with a 30-minute response time, making reliability and teamwork essential. We're looking for someone who is adaptable, hard-working, and collaborative-an RN who values teamwork, delivers compassionate care, and contributes to a supportive, high-functioning team.

Compensation Range:
$40.70 - $61.05 per hour, depending on experience
Sign-On Bonus

What You'll Do
  • Assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for an assigned group of patients
  • Serve as a primary or accountable nurse based on unit assignment and patient safety needs
  • Educate patients and families on health promotion, treatment plans, and disease management
  • Utilize pharmacology knowledge to safely administer medications in accordance with UHS policies
  • Support effective resource use, including staffing, time management, supplies, and services
  • Adhere to all nursing practice standards, regulatory requirements, and UHS policies
  • Participate in Nursing Shared Governance, Unit Council activities, and improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to peer review processes and integrate evidence-based practice and nursing research
  • Provide a supportive learning environment for new employees, students, and clinical observers
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, continuing education, and mandatory training
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support safe, effective patient care
