Job description

Home Instead of Monmouth County is looking for a part time Registered Nurse with availability during the day to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead provides a variety of services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. You would be working under the supervision of our Director of Nursing.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
-Assessment and creation of a Plan of Care.
-Performing CHHA(Certified Home Health Aide) Orientation based on the Plan of Care
-Monitoring all CHHA Activity records
-Supervising CHHA's on an ongoing basis.
-Executing a Home safety review, including fall risk assessment
-Emergency Planning
-Periodic patient evaluation and reassessment
-Clinical oversight of Home Instead in-home health care, personal care and companion services program including services rendered by its employees (certified homemaker home health aides and companions).
Qualified candidates must have the following:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or Home Care Experience with an Associates in Nursing
Understanding of the Best Practices for Health Care Service Firms per the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs and applicable federal, state regulations along with our Franchise and Accredidation Standards.
New Jersey Board of Nursing licensed Registered Nurse with education and community health nursing experience with progressive responsibilities in community health nursing.
