Job Objective/ Summary

The responsibility of a Registered Nurse is to assess resident health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records.


Essential Functions

  • Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
  • Administer medications to residents and monitor residents for reactions or side effects.
  • Record residentsโ€™ medical information and vital signs.
  • Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in residentsโ€™ conditions.
  • Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate residents care plans.
  • Modify residentsโ€™ treatment plans as indicated by residentsโ€™ responses and conditions.
  • Direct or supervise less-skilled nursing or healthcare personnel.
  • Instruct individuals, families, or other groups on topics such as health education, disease prevention, and develop health improvement programs.
  • Adhere to The Estates at Carpentersโ€™ policies and procedures, including those covering privacy and security in compliance with HIPAA regulations, and codes of conduct. Maintain confidentiality and respects residentโ€™s privacy at all times in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
