We are seeking an experienced Part Time Registered Nurse to join the Operating Room team at University of Maryland Capital Region Health. This opportunity is ideal for a nurse seeking flexibility, variety, and exposure across multiple surgical workflows and team dynamics within a high-acuity perioperative environment. You will play a key role in delivering safe, efficient surgical care across a broad case mix while collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, team-driven setting.
Part Time Rotating Shifts
This role offers rotating scheduling opportunities designed to support operational coverage while providing exposure to multiple shift environments and surgical workflows.

Part Time Rotating Shifts
Days: 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM | Evenings: 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM | Nights: 6:45 PM - 7:00 AM
Licensure & Experience:
โ€ข Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maryland or Compact eligibility in accordance with MBON required.
โ€ข Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
โ€ข Minimum of 2-3 years of Operating Room RN experience required.
โ€ข Proven ability to independently circulate surgical cases in a fast-paced OR environment.
โ€ข Experience supporting a range of procedures including general, orthopedic, and specialty cases strongly preferred.
โ€ข Trauma experience preferred.
โ€ข High-acuity experience and strong clinical judgment in complex surgical settings strongly preferred.
โ€ข Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
