About your Role
As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will manage an assigned caseload, providing direct patient care, conducting psychiatric evaluations, and prescribing and monitoring medication. You will work primarily from our Arizona office locations, with the option of Telehealth for some patients. In addition, you will provide oversight to medical assistants, participate in treatment planning, case consultation, staffing, and document client interactions to ensure progress towards goals. You will be expected to address client clinical needs during regular workday hours and take part in a rotational on-call schedule (typically one week a month). After-hours calls are rare.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide medication management
  • Oversee medical assistants and support staff
  • Participate in treatment planning and clinical consultations
  • Provide psychiatric consultation to caregivers and clinicians
  • Manage high acuity patients and effect behavior changes
  • Stay current with diagnostic and treatment changes/modalities
  • Participate in team supervision and maintain licensure
  • Advocate for the client's psychiatric needs

Required Qualifications
  • MD or DO license in Arizona
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry
  • CPR/First Aid certified
  • Valid Arizona driver's license (must be unrestricted)
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred)
