Talent Recruiter Part-Time (20-30 hours/week) - Work From Home (WFH)

Midwest Physician Group (MPG) is looking for a part-time Talent Recruiter to join our team!

The Talent Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening, and qualifying candidates using the organization's Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and established recruitment resources. This role serves as the first point of contact in the hiring process, identifying top talent and presenting the most qualified candidates to hiring managers for final interviews and selection. The Talent Recruiter partners with a diverse group of private-physician owned medical practices throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area, developing an understanding of each practice's unique staffing needs, culture, and position requirements to ensure successful candidate placement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Source candidates through the ATS, job boards, social media platforms, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
  • Review applications and candidate-submitted videos to identify applicants who best meet position requirements.
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings to assess qualifications, experience, communication skills, and overall fit.
  • Contact candidates to obtain additional information, clarify qualifications, verify experience, and answer questions regarding open positions.
  • Present qualified candidates to hiring managers with recommendations based on established hiring criteria.
  • Build and maintain relationships with physicians, practice administrators, and hiring managers across multiple private medical practices.
  • Gain an understanding of each client's culture, staffing needs, and position requirements to effectively match candidates to opportunities.
  • Maintain timely and professional communication with applicants throughout the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand position requirements and desired candidate qualifications.
  • Create, edit, and optimize job postings to increase applicant volume and improve visibility across job platforms and search engines.
  • Utilize critical thinking and professional judgment to evaluate candidate qualifications and determine alignment with organizational and client needs.
  • Monitor recruiting metrics and adjust sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
  • Maintain accurate applicant records and recruitment documentation within the ATS.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Assist with new-hire onboarding as workload permits.

Qualifications

  • Strong ability to evaluate candidate qualifications and determine fit for open positions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, interviewing, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to build relationships with a variety of healthcare leaders and practice teams.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems and online recruiting tools preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple openings and priorities.
  • Knowledge of recruitment marketing, job board optimization, and candidate sourcing strategies preferred.
  • Previous recruiting, talent acquisition, healthcare staffing, or human resources experience preferred.
  • High school diploma/GED, required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in human resources, business or a related field required.

Base starts at: $26-$30/ hr

Bonus Opportunity: $1,250-2,500 per year.
