These professionals assist with patient care tasks, support other nursing staff, and often perform duties such as monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with medical procedures. The 'tech' aspect of the role can vary by employer but typically involves hands-on clinical and technical support. Working part-time allows these nurses to have a flexible schedule while still contributing to patient care. Requirements generally include an active RN license and some clinical experience.
