Job Description:
Registered Nurse Med-Surg- PRN, Nights
Status: PRN
Shift: Third
Job Summary:
A registered nurse implements the nursing process for each patient/resident (pediatric to geriatrics depending on scope of care in the nursing department in which he/she works) assigned to his/her care.
Responsibilities:
  • Assesses patient clinical status.
  • Develops a plan of care.
  • Implementation of the nursing plan of care.
  • Evaluation of the effectiveness of the care plan.
  • Communication and validation of patient care information.

Requirements:
Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
Active Kentucky RN License.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.
