Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Department – Part Time Days
Fast-paced, high volume Emergency department is looking for top skilled nurses.  Is that you? 
Work location: 1105 Central Expressway North, Allen TX 75013
Work Hours: (Days) 7:00 am-7:00 pm, part-time, (2) 12-hour shifts, weekends and holidays required
Medical Surgical Department Highlights:
·        25-bed unit
·        Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team
·        Fast-Paced, high-volume department cases: include post-surgery care including ortho, spine, plastics, general surgery and general medical overflow patients.
·        The professional nurse exhibits understanding of basic human needs.

Here’s What You Need:
Nursing Diploma or Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program
BSN preferred
One-year experience as a registered nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.
One year of medical surgical experience strongly preferred
RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Req And
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req And
CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training 60 Days Req And
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Req
What You Will Do:
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
Assesses the patient
Plans the care of the patient
Intervenes as appropriate
Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
