Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our anesthesia care team. The CRNA will be responsible for administering intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics to render persons insensible to pain during surgical procedures, obstetrical deliveries, or other medical and dental procedures. Potentially administers anesthesia to all ages and A.S.A. classes of patients, including geriatrics and pediatrics. Provides airway management services as needed throughout the hospital.
Work-Life:
  • Minimal call with a 45-minute response time

  • Private call rooms available for those on call

  • Wide variety of shifts: 8-10-12hr shifts to start with an opportunity to transition to longer shifts if desired.

  • Excellent shift premiums available for evening shifts

  • Wide variety of cases Ortho, Neuro, vascular, general, trauma, bariatric, plastics, thoracic, robots, cysto, OB, and small number of peds)

  • Airway management for house wide codes and ED traumas

  • We staff the endoscopy center (3 rooms), and surgery center (5 rooms) located across the street from the hospital

  • OB CRNA team for epidurals

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop tailored anesthesia care plans.

  • Administer anesthesia (general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care) in collaboration with surgeons and other healthcare providers.

  • Monitor patients during procedures and manage any anesthesia-related complications.

  • Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management.

  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
