Job Position Description:
Position in Columbus area off 313 near Riverside Hospital. Candidate must have own reliable transportation. Team lead is a working position who also oversees approximately 6 team members, and must be able to assist in training, and motivating team members. Fill in of positions due to call off or open position with no assigned team member a requirement. This position plays a critical role in ensuring team follows task list for site and complete all assignments to ServiceMaster standards. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of cleaning principles and team management experience, including the separation between leadership and team members, able to lead a multi culture team. Prior experience required. Hourly rate $18.25-$19hr, shift Monday thru Friday (no weekends) 4:30 to 9:00 p.m.
Responsibilities

  • Has areas of responsibility to clean.
  • Training cleaners on ServiceMasters standards, products, processes and procedures
  • Oversight over the team during the night.
  • Oversees staff performance and ensures all assignments are completed in accordance to set task schedule
  • Train cleaners on task schedules specific to individual area
  • Perform inspections and give constructive performance feedback to team members
  • Fill-in in case of call off or no shows, or coordinates team help
  • Respond to customer complaints and request in a timely and caring manner
  • Ensure compliance with safety and OSHA regulations
  • Use proper PPE where required
  • Ensure location has appropriate chemicals and supplies, report when needed
  • Must be able to communicate in English. Bilingual is a plus or use of translator tools required

Physical Demands and Qualifications:
  • Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25lbs.
  • Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses
  • 2 years management experience preferred with reference
  • Looking for candidates with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • The ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job is a must.
  • Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude
  • Contribute to the overall goals of the company, team effort including being in uniform, dependable and ability to be confidential, not sharing unnecessary information with team members
