CIBC Bank USA seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to prepare and review accounting entries for complex financial instruments and investment portfolios. Perform financial and regulatory reporting in compliance with U.S. GAAP and IRFRS standards. Monitor and maintain collateral positions and margin movements with trading counterparties and clients. Provide and maintain documentation for internal and external audit requests. Collaborate with risk, treasury, and operations teams to resolve accounting and reporting issues. Analyze balance sheet and P&L variances across products. Identify opportunities to enhance accuracy, automation, and efficiency in accounting and reporting processes. #LI-DNI

Position requires a Masterโ€™s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related quantitative field, and 3 years of experience with applying accounting, auditing, and financial reporting principles to track, analyze, reconcile, and report on financial activity. Experience must include a minimum of: 3 years of experience with preparing journal entries and reconciliations in accordance with U.S. GAAP; 3 years of experience with performing month-end close, variance analysis, and financial reporting; 3 years of experience with preparing financial reports and analyses utilizing Financial Edge, and QuickBooks; and 3 years of experience with Excel tools including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and Index Match. Part-time telecommuting permitted.
