Role Summary
The Social Media Analyst for Goldman Sachs Asset Management will play a key role within the wider Asset Management Marketing team, working to deliver social media content and strategy for a key growth business for the firm.
The Social Media Analyst will partner with teams across marketing, sales, and investing teams to drive strategy, draft engaging social content, work with designers to bring content to life visually, and manage content publication through necessary governance processes.
Position Responsibilities
Content Orchestration: Lead the end-to-end creation of high-caliber social content regarding product launches, macroeconomic insights, and firm milestones. You will act as both a strategic editor and a creative visionary, collaborating with internal design agencies to produce premium visual assets.
Campaign Management: Support a social media calendar, ensuring alignment with the broader AWM global content strategy and sequencing posts for maximum impact.
Innovation: Spearhead initiatives to modernize social media sharing, including the adoption of new formats (e.g., short-form video, interactive data visualization).
Data-Driven Optimization: Utilize advanced analytics to measure impact and share actionable insights to senior leadership, continuously refining tactics based on performance data and industry benchmarks.
Risk & Governance: Collaborate closely with Legal, Compliance, and Media Relations to ensure all content aligns with requirements.
Stakeholder Management: Advise stakeholders on personal branding and social media best practices to amplify the firm's thought leadership.
Qualifications
  • 1+ years in a social media role.
  • Exceptional copywriting skills, with demonstrable experience of communicating to sophisticated and technical B2B audiences
  • Interest in investment views and markets with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and develop a clear, compelling story
  • Experience of working with marketing performance data to continually identify opportunities for improvement
  • Demonstrable track record of working effectively across matrixed, complex organizations with excellent

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $85000-$110000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
